I've always been a creative person, as a child I could happily sit and draw all day, however the disadvantage to this means now I keep old jewellery and ribbons because "I could think of something to do with them" instead of throwing them away and my sewing box is overflowing! The other day when I was having a big room tidy and clear out I noticed that I just leave my hair bobbles lying around, which probably explains why I lose them all the time!
This is when I decided to get creative and found an old jam jar from the recycling box (technically this is recycling too;) ). I then found all my bits and bobs or ribbon I had and an old bracelet. Then easily I just wrapped the ribbon around the glass jar to decorate and added the little heart bracelet to finish it off, and now I have a hair bobble jar. Pretty simple and easy but a cute little home made touch to my room, and you could use these to tidy other things such as pens, make up brushes, lipsticks, nail varnishes.
